The Role

Working in our dynamic and creative Branch Merchandising Team youll support branch-planning activities including recording local branch information and maintaining reports that determine what products each store stocks. Youll also help to plan the rates of sale and distribution for particular items as well as reacting to sales information to maximise sales potential for all stores.

What Youll Take On

During each season youll be responsible for interpreting store sales stock planning and optimisation. You will manage store grading to ensure stock is in the right place.

Youll also ensure new and refitted stores have the stock packages they need for launch while helping to interpret and produce a range of regular stock and merchandising reports.

You will liaise with warehousing to ensure a smooth flow of stock into stores for peak sales periods.

Youll effectively co-ordinate and collate all re-labelling requirements during seasons and ahead of a new seasons launch. Youll also produce and maintain a detailed record of price discrepancies as well as gathering and sharing details of key price amendments with the relevant teams.

Demonstrate drive and decisiveness in understanding and dealing with commercial situations to ensure positive outcomes for stores. Analysing and prioritising risks and opportunities Youll also have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/Google sheets.

You will be able to quickly identify any discrepancies and confidently propose the most appropriate course of action. Youll also have strong planning and organisational skills as well as a positive and flexible approach to every task.

A clear and engaging communicator youll be able to quickly build productive relationships throughout the business. Youll also be able to motivate support and assign challenging development tasks to trainees in your team.
