GCSE Maths or English Tutor with SEN Experience

Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors to join our tutor database. Youll provide personalised 1:1 or small group support in Maths or English for GCSE students. These in-person sessions in Hackney offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

• Subject:Maths and/or English
• Level: GCSE

What Youll Do:

• Deliver up to 15 hours of tutoring per week with sessions split across the school day
• Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Provide targeted support for students
• Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor progress produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes

Were looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelors degree
• 2 years of tutoring / teaching experience
• Experience working with students on the autistic spectrum
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Daytime availability
• The right to be self employed in the UK
