Overview
Seeking a Structural Design Engineer to support the design of steel racking systems used in industrial and warehouse environments. This role focuses on developing safe accurate and cost-effective structural solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to execute projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design steel racking systems including Tuberacks Drive-In Cantilever Pushback and Pallet Flow
Develop structural designs that meet project requirements codes and safety standards
Perform structural analysis using industry software for frames beams bracing mezzanines and platforms
Review and check structural drawings for accuracy and completeness
Partner with Project Managers and Design teams to align on project scope and timelines
Communicate engineering requirements clearly across teams
Contribute to design improvements and support ongoing engineering development
Follow and support all safety policies procedures and standards

Details:

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam prior to hire
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

Focus or coursework in structural engineering
Basic understanding of building construction methods
Familiarity with current building codes and industry standards
Exposure to steel racking or rack-supported structures
