The Railcar Inspector/Operator position will promote and comply with American Association of Railroads (AAR) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations pertaining to railcar inspection and maintenance requirements. The Railcar Inspector/Operator is responsible for performing routine railcar inspections identifying defects or maintenance needs and ensuring all equipment meets required safety and compliance standards before release.

• Conduct inspections of railcars in accordance with AAR and DOT regulations.

• Identify and report defects mechanical issues or safety concerns.

• Ensure railcars meet all regulatory and company standards prior to service.

• Maintain accurate inspection records and required documentation.

• Communicate any hazards compliance issues or service interruptions immediately to supervision.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must possess a valid Class A commercial drivers license for state of domicile.

• Three (3) or more years prior experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles.

• Must possess all applicable Haz-Mat (Hazardous Materials) endorsements.

Preferred Qualifications

• AAR Certified Railcar Inspector highly preferred.

• Product knowledge of cryogenic compressed and specialty gasses preferred.
