Title:
PHL Technician
Responsible for assisting with the repairs adjustments and ongoing/preventative maintenance on equipment buildings systems or machinery. Areas of specialization may include but are not limited to the following: electrical mechanical vacuum motors hydraulic fuels gasoline diesel refrigeration and all other types of equipment. May assist with maintenance for electrical painting HVAC and/or carpentry meters gauges switches valves pumps plumbing fixtures plasters brick and woodwork. Build sheds and other outbuildings. Conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all tools measuring instruments and equipment necessary to perform work. Typically requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through job-related training and considerable work experience. Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Work is typically non-routine but not complex. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new less obvious solutions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma with at least 4 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
