About the team and the role:

eBays Global Shipping Operations (GSO) Team in the UK focuses on delivery performance across our logistics partner network. This role sits within a team responsible for ensuring reliable delivery experiences for buyers and sellers by improving performance visibility and accountability.

As a Delivery Operations Manager (12-month FTC) you will lead carrier performance management working closely with internal teams including Product Customer Experience Analytics and Commercial. You will use data and operational insight to drive measurable improvements while leading partner relationships and governance forums. This role reports into the Global Shipping Operations function and operates in a fast-paced data-driven environment.

What you will accomplish:

  • Define track and improve key delivery performance metrics such as timeliness scan compliance and customer experience

  • Lead weekly monthly and quarterly business reviews with logistics partners ensuring clear actions and accountability

  • Identify performance gaps determine root causes and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve outcomes

  • Build and maintain reporting frameworks that provide clear insights risks and opportunities to internal stakeholders

  • Partner with Product Commercial Analytics and Customer Experience teams to align on priorities and execution

  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and translate findings into actionable improvements

  • Deliver logistics-related projects that improve delivery reliability and overall customer experience

What you will bring:

  • Experience in operations logistics or performance management in a data-driven environment

  • Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting complex datasets and generating actionable insights

  • Experience handling external partners and influencing performance outcomes

  • Ability to lead structured business reviews and communicate insights to senior collaborators

  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Product Analytics Commercial or Customer Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple demands in a fast-paced setting

  • This is a UK-based fixed-term contract role within a global operations team
