Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in critical care for a contract assignment. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to float between ICU and Med/Surg Tele units based on patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Conduct ongoing physical psychological and social patient assessments
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Function as a charge nurse when required
Utilize electronic medical records and nursing informatics systems effectively
Support patient education and discharge planning
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Mentor and assist in training/orienting staff as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (Massachusetts)
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Required
CCHC Pharmacology Exam Required
CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam Required
Prior critical care experience
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-acuity environments
Preferred Qualifications
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
CCRN certification
TCAR certification
De-escalation certification
Experience with ventilators hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring
