Position Overview
As a Mental Health Therapist you will provide individual group and/or family therapy services to clients experiencing a wide range of emotional behavioral and psychological concerns. You will conduct clinical assessments develop personalized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in accordance with professional standards and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual group and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop implement and update individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
- Collaborate with psychiatrists case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
- Support crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing board requirements
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or a closely related clinical field from an accredited college or university
- Active and unrestricted licensure in the state of California as one of the following:
- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as CBT DBT trauma-informed care or similar approaches
- Excellent communication documentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities
- Background in outpatient mental health community mental health or private practice
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Experience handling crisis intervention or high-acuity clients
