Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide on-call technical support to end this role you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware software and network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. You will respond to incidents via phone email or ticketing systems ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support (hardware software network issues)Troubleshoot user problems via phone email or ticketing system. Set up and maintain user accounts devices and access permissions. Install and configure software and hardware.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams
Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during staff absence
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of IT systems
- intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to respond outside standard working hours (on-call availability)
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows macOS sometimes Linux). Experience with helpdesk/ticketing tools. Ability to quickly adapt to an existing environment with minimal training
