With a balanced focus split evenly between senior-level financial analysis and cross-functional leadership you will serve as the primary conduit between the Controlling department and key business units. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional projects delegating tasks and aligning the controlling calendar with key stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
• Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for standardization reporting enhancements and data accessibility to drive organizational efficiency.
• Financial Analysis & Modeling: Prepare complex preliminary calculations for production transfers capital investments product launches and discontinuations presenting your findings directly to management.
• Business Partnering: Assess new business requirements and coordinate their implementation ensuring all functional interconnections are understood and optimized.
• Operational Support: Conduct deep-dive analyses to support cost-reduction initiatives and provide actionable insights for decision-makers.

Requirements

• Experience & Education: University degree in Economics or Finance backed by min. 5 years of professional experience in finance or controlling roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential alongside a genuine passion for data-driven storytelling.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong logical and systemic thinking with the ability to see the big picture while maintaining accuracy in the details.
• Soft Skills: A proactive persistent approach to implementation and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Communication: Intermediate English proficiency is required.
• Logistics: Ability to work on-site in Debrecen four days a week with one day per week at the Budapest headquarters.
• Valued Extras: Previous experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems) and a background in multinational or cross-site project coordination will be considered a significant advantage.
