The Opportunity

The position of Implementation Project Manager is within ourAbbott Point of Care (APOC) Division. Itsa field-based role overseeing/managing projects throughout the Western United States and will requireregionaltravel up to 75%.

Our i-STAT System is an advanced portable diagnostic tool that provides real-time lab-quality results within minutes to accelerate patient-care decision-making as well asoptimizeresourceutilizationfor our customers and the patients that they serve. The i-STAT System has the industrys most comprehensive menu of tests in a single with-patient platform including tests for respiratory metabolic coagulation hematology glucose and cardiac function. By delivering lab-quality results in minutes on just a few drops of blood our i-STAT System fosters a collaborative patient-centered environment while driving improved operational performance.

As an Implementation Project Manager youll be responsible for delivering bestinclass project management while leading the implementation of the companys full portfolio of products. Youll collaborate closely with key account stakeholders to streamline existing workflows and enable improved patient care through effective product this role youll support the Point of Care Sales Specialists by driving implementation timelines that contribute to sales growth assisting preclose on key opportunities and developing innovative strategies to accelerate customer implementations. Youll also reinforce product value with existing customers to help minimize declining business and support longterm customer success.

Territory: Area West (Western United States)

The role may be based within the territory Western United States with a preference for California Nevada or Arizona.

What Youll Work On

• Develop innovative strategies forexpeditedcustomer solution implementation.
• Lead implementation and integration of customer point-of-care solutions aiming for a 60-day implementationtorevenue timeline.
• Coordinate with customers and other resources for successful product adoption.
• Improve implementationefficienciesfor large high-priority and complex projects.
• Develop and execute implementation strategies; lead cross-functional teams.
• Maximize cartridgeutilizationand deliver superior customer support.
• Understand customer needs and articulate POCT benefits.
• Demonstrate key product attributes and provide product demonstrations.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
• Complete administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
• Comply withEHS policies andmaintainQuality System effectiveness.
• Adhereto and promote the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.
• Engage with key personnel to streamline customer processes and enhance patient care.
• Support the field sales team post-close to the Test of Record implementation.
• Support field sales during pre-close to drive territory growth.
• Protect the key base business and support field sales to reduce business decline.
• Cultivate growth opportunities and support pre-close implementation activities.
• Make educational presentations to healthcare professionals on diagnostic trends.
• Travel up to 75% to support business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Associatesdegree
• 4 yearsof relevant experience in the field.
• 2yearsof healthcare industry experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science Chemistry or Biology
• 3 years of healthcare experience including hospital experience
• 3 years of project management or leadership experience
