Supply Chain SupervisorThe Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities at Viants Grand Rapids facility. The supervisor will ensure that all materials and products needed to run the business are acquired processed stored and delivered in a timely manner. The Supply Chain Supervisor will ensure that the supply chain team is operating as efficiently as :Provide daily supervision and direction to the supply chain team aligned with Viant a member of the plant leadership team accountable for key site metrics (safety quality delivery cost and inventory) and functional the supply chain team including goal setting development and performance site master data the site SIOP in regular customer management activities (i.e. management calls project reviews etc.)Lead development and execution of site master with the creation and maintenance of site capacity model delivering optimal utilization of all manufacturing with the development and execution of proactive inventory management initiatives to achieve on time delivery performance and service level while optimizing inventory and understand the needs of multiple customers. Develop and communicate product supply strategies that meet both customer and Viant for oversight of tactical procurement supplier engagement/management and Supply Chain Risk Management for the buyers in purchasing negotiations control PPV and logistics and minimize material shortages by utilizing the systems and tools executing actions messages updating master data having proactive communication with for materials management including inbound receipt production staging return from production and finished goods cycle count process and annual physical inventory in line with company Key Customers S& in contract reviews order entry and customer duties as assignedKnowledge and EducationBachelors degree required or equivalent experienceJob Experience3 years experience in Planning Procurement Customer Operations or Material handling / warehouse and and able to manage multiple tasks and be able to quickly and independently make be able to work and effectively communicate with ethical standards and professional to work and customer service -solving thinking able to make business decisions accurately with minimum oral and written communication to negotiate with customers suppliers and other key of MRP / ERP and Advanced Planning systems and data knowledge of LEAN / Six Sigma office environment; long periods of sitting standing using hands to perform computer occasional lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
