Salary: $23.11 - $24.62

Responsibilities

• Manages all agency special events from start to finish which will include but are not limited to the Spring Wine Mixer Cruisin for a Cause Turkey Trot Holiday Gift Wrap Booth and other fundraising events as needed.
• Creates new agency special events and fundraisers with input from the Director Development and Foundation Events Committee.
• Attends and give updates on flag sheet items at quarterly Foundation Events Committee meetings.
• Work with vendors venues and volunteers to manage all aspects of special events.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Event Management Communications Nonprofit Management Marketing or a related field - or equivalent combination of education and experience plus two (2) years of experience in event planning fundraising or community outreach preferably in a nonprofit setting. Experience coordinating volunteers is a plus.
• Comfort with basic financial record-keeping and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event or donor management platforms (such as Square Bloomerang or similar) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for sponsorship solicitation volunteer coordination and community outreach.
• Ability to work some evenings weekends and holidays as required by the event calendar.
