We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in UI automation using Playwright and JavaScript along with API automation using Rest Assured and Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Design develop and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright and JavaScript
Build and execute automated API test suites using Rest Assured and Java
Analyze requirements and create detailed comprehensive test plans and test cases
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Identify document and track defects using standard bug tracking tools
What should you bring along
Collaborate with developers product managers and QA team members
Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide actionable insights
Ensure test coverage across UI API and integration layers
Continuously improving automation processes tools and best practices
Must have technical skill
Strong experience in UI automation using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid experience in API testing using Rest Assured with Java
Good understanding of software testing concepts methodologies and SDLC/STLC
Experience with test frameworks (e.g. TestNG JUnit or similar)
Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI)
Strong knowledge of REST APIs HTTP methods and status codes
Experience with test reporting tools (e.g. Allure Extent Reports)
Good debugging and problem-solving skills
Good to have skills
Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter k6)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
