Hygiene Operative Days

Kepak Group is a leading food production company and we are looking for a Factory Cleaner to join our team at our Bodmin site. As an Industrial Cleaner you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our manufacturing plant ensuring that it meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday - 6:30am until production finishes on 12.75 per hour.

Your own transport is required due to our location and the times of public transport links to Bodmin

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the cleanliness of the factory including floors walls and ceilings to maintain a hygienic environment
• Empty garbage cans and recycling bins throughout the plant
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and all food contact surfaces
• Operate cleaning equipment such as power washers scrubbers and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines
• Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or food production is preferred
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines and HACCP
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible availability to work different hours if needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment as require
