Your role and responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain effective business processes procedures and administrative systems
  • Maintain workload balancing various tasks
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the service by working to the latest standard and guidance
  • Provide a professional contact and accurate service information to internal staff and external professionals young people and families
  • Provide guidance training and cover for colleagues sharing knowledge and best practice
  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual records filing systems shared inboxes and office administration
  • Balancing a highdemand workload alongside processing new cases preparing bundles for existing cases and issuing final EHCPs

You will need

  • Strong communication skills
  • To be able to work proactively and calm under pressured environments
  • To work within a team but also independently
  • Organisation skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks

The team

The Statutory SEND Services Team leads on all aspects of our family facing work and supports individual children and young people with SEND and their families throughout their SEND journey. This includes securing the right education offer to support their specific needs and ensuring regular and effective review of their progress holding providers to account across the system for meeting the needs of individual children and young team includes practitioners from a range of backgrounds who provide a wealth of knowledge and experience and support partnerships across the education health and care system.
