About the Role

We are recruiting for a driven and commercially focused B2B Account Manager to join a well-established and growing technology services organisation based in Northampton. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong relationship-building skills a consultative sales approach and proven experience managing client accounts within a fast-paced business environment.

The company provides a range of business solutions including managed services cloud solutions cybersecurity IT support and infrastructure services supporting clients across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships identifying growth opportunities and ensuring exceptional service delivery to maximise account retention and profitability. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B customer accounts
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales activity
  • Build strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable business solutions
  • Prepare quotations proposals and service agreements
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximise profitability
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity reports

Requirements

  • Minimum 23 years experience in account management business development or B2B sales
  • Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management abilities
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

Desirable

  • Experience within IT services managed services professional services or commercial sales
  • Background in consultative sales or solution-based selling
  • Previous experience handling high-value client accounts
  • Understanding of cloud services cybersecurity or business technology solutions
