Business-to-Business (B2B) Account Manager Northampton Hybrid per annum Bonus Commission

We are recruiting for a driven and commercially focused B2B Account Manager to join a well-established and growing technology services organisation based in Northampton. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong relationship-building skills a consultative sales approach and proven experience managing client accounts within a fast-paced business environment.
The company provides a range of business solutions including managed services cloud solutions cybersecurity IT support and infrastructure services supporting clients across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships identifying growth opportunities and ensuring exceptional service delivery to maximise account retention and profitability. Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B customer accounts
Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales activity
Build strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact

Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximise profitability
Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity reports
Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery

Stay up to date with market trends competitor activity and industry developments
Requirements
Minimum 23 years experience in account management business development or B2B sales
Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management abilities
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence preferred
Desirable
Experience within IT services managed services professional services or commercial sales
Background in consultative sales or solution-based selling
Understanding of cloud services cybersecurity or business technology solutions
