Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer Insurance and indirectly to the Chief Transformation Officer Association you will provide strategic stewardship of our core Insurance platformsincluding Guidewireensuring theyremainsecure reliable and integrated into a moderndigital ecosystem.
In this leadership role you will work as a strategic partner alongside executive leaders in Underwriting Claims and Agency to co-create technology plans that improve operations and enhance the member experience. While ensuring our systems are stable and scalable you will also serve as an advocate for digital modernization andAI enablementleveragingAI tools and conceptsto increase productivity and deliver new value-added capabilities for our members and employees.

With a deep understanding of Insurance platform architectures you excel at balancing the need for rapid innovation with the requirements for stability and security.
You are an adaptive technologist who is comfortable applying machine learning and AI conceptsto deliver results withinreal-world operational processes and software development workflows.
Your leadership style is rooted in relationship-building allowing you to aligninternal software engineering teams and external vendorstoward shared transformation goals.
Youpossessa strong contemporary understanding of data environments ideally with Snowflake and thrive in a regulatory and compliance-focused environment.

You will define and evolve theInsurance technology and data strategyensuring our roadmap accelerates both business goals and AMAs enterprise transformation agenda.
By providing executive leadership over core systems you will oversee the development and integration of underwriting claims and billing solutions to ensure they are stable anduser-focused.
You will advocate for digital enablement across Insurance functions championingtechnologiesand AI toolsthat improve operational efficiency and digital member experiences.
Through strategicmanagement of software engineering teams and external vendors you willleveragepartners to accelerate modernization and access specialized technical skills.
You will lead the modernization of ourInsurancedata platformleveragingSnowflake to advanceAPI and cloud-based integration capabilities to increase business agility.
As a mentor you will supervise and develop high-performing technical teams fostering a culture ofAI-driven deliverytechnical excellence and continuous improvement.
What You Bring to the Table
You have aBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications like PMP or ITIL are significant assets.
You bring significant leadership experience in IT with a specialized background inleading softwaredevelopmentteams.
Experience in insurance or financial services including Guidewireispreferred but not.
You have a strong technical understanding of modern engineering practices cloud technologiescontemporary data stacks (ideally Snowflake) and core platforms like Guidewire.
Your experience includes a proven ability to lead through change and manage the ambiguity that comes withAI-drivenlarge-scale digital transformations.
