This position is onsite in Boston until the office relocates to Hopkinton MA in July 2026.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and manage a production schedule for designated manufacturing areas. Daily tasks include the following:
Utilize SAP and SAP/APO to develop near termand long-term production plans
Utilize SAP/APO to maintain forecast performance
Utilize SAP and SAP/APO to maintain proper stock levels in both local and international distribution sites
Work with manufacturing to maintain parity between costing and BOM/Routing changes
Develop initiatives to improve inventory scrap and margin performance
Work with Product Management to align build schedule with forecast and schedule new product introductions
Interact with the sales team to expedite and capitalize on fast moving opportunities
Communicate with both domestic and international Customer Service groups to provide timely stocking updatesand resolve order specific issues
In addition to a firm understanding of fundamental planning concepts the position requires strong analytical and computer skills including the ability to analyze data and structure reports
Additional Responsibilities:
May require some travel to other sites
Cross training into other areas of planning/procurement

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
OR
Associate Degree and 7 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
OR
High School diploma/GED and 9 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
APICS certification or courses a plus.
3 years of experience in life sciences environment
Ability to read analyze and interpret data from ERP system or other data systems. Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from management suppliers customers and the general operations group.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization may exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
Highly effective time management skills
Commitment to customer excellence with demonstrated ethics and integrity
Ability to operate independently and as part of a team
Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/APO)
Highly skilled in the use of excel creating Pivot tables graphs for data analysis
Skilled in the use of Word
Highly skilled in the creation and presentation of PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Power BI
Access knowledge a plus
Greenbelt certified a plus
Compensation range:
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses equity or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
