Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST to join its busy practice. Our group consists of 3 interventional cardiologist 2 non-invasive cardiologist and 4 Advanced Practitioners.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Rotating physicians who offer advanced heart failure TAVR vascular surgery and electrophysiology.
- Currently our physicians cover one hospital.
- Call is every 5th for everybody and for interventional its every 3rd call. We rotate cath lab days as well as weekly hospital coverage and night-time and weekend call. Weekly hospital coverage includes rounding on the weekends.
- We rotate to 8 different satellite locations for clinical practice and each physician rotates to 3 locations for their practice.
- Our diagnostic department performs EKGs Holter monitoring (24 48-hour 3-14 day and event monitoring up to 30 days) exercise stress tests (regular as well as nuclear) cardiac ultrasound (to include stress echo and dobutamine stress echo) vascular ultrasound.
- We have an Arrhythmia/device clinic Cardiac rehab and Heart failure clinic
