Production Planning Implementation Lead

Salary: Circa 52000 dependent on skills and experience
Permanent Full-time with flexibility for part-time
Base Location: Flexible with travelacross the Anglian Water region

Our Water Services team clean water to the highest standard deliver it to millions of homes and carefully manage it to ensure it never runs out. We borrow water from the environment storeitand treat it to world-class standards to supply safe drinking water to 4.3 million customers in towns and villages from Grimsby in the northeast of our region to Milton Keynes at the south-western tip.

AsProduction Planning Implementation Lead you will be accountable for leading the implementationreadinessand enablement of Production Plans across the water supply system. Acting as the bridge between Production Planning and Operational Control you will ensure that production plans system changestechnologiesand methodologies are translated into clearsystem readyactions that can be safely and effectively adopted by control teams.

You will playa central rolein enabling the move from reactive to proactive increasingly automated andsystem ledoperation with a clear focus on readiness integrationassuranceand risk management rather thanreal-timecontrol.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the translation of agreed Production Plans into executablesystem readyimplementation actions

• Own the implementation readiness process including validation of assumptions dependencies systemimpactsand risks

• Establish clearhand-offpoints between Production Planning implementationactivityand Operational Control

• Act as the focal point for integration of new and existing control systemstechnologiesand methodologies

• Lead assurance activities to ensure changes do not introduce unacceptable risk to customers regulation theenvironmentor system resilience

• Set and embed principlesstandardsand best practice for production plan implementation

• Collaborate with planning frontlineengineeringand digital teams to managecapacity impactingworks

• Support and help develop a Centre of Excellence for Proactive Controllers including workshopsstandardsand training

Requirements

• Strong and proven leadership capability

• Extensive operational experience within the water industry

• In-depthknowledge of water production control systems and control assets

• Experience leading withinhigh performingdata drivenoperational teams

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear practical implementation guidance

• Strong communicationskills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change

• Degree leveleducation or equivalent experience (desirable)
