We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in events fabrication carpentry and production management to lead our production operations in Qatar. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end production processes—from design interpretation and material planning to fabrication installation and final execution—ensuring quality efficiency and timely delivery for all event-related and custom carpentry projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Management
Plan organize and manage the entire production workflow for event setups exhibition stands stages and custom carpentry works.
Supervise production schedules ensuring all jobs are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Coordinate closely with design procurement and operations teams to translate project briefs into practical production solutions.
Allocate manpower and materials effectively to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
Technical & Operational Oversight
Lead a team of carpenters painters fabricators electricians and installers.
Ensure all fabrication works (wood metal acrylic paint etc.) meet quality and safety standards.
Monitor the maintenance of tools machinery and workshop facilities.
Conduct quality checks and approve final outputs before dispatch or installation.
Budgeting & Resource Control
Prepare production cost estimates manage budgets and control expenses for materials and manpower.
Optimize resource utilization and minimize material wastage.
Ensure proper inventory management and procurement coordination.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Manage train and motivate production staff to maintain high standards of performance.
Ensure effective communication between workshop site and office teams.
Monitor employee productivity attendance and safety compliance.
Health Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to all HSE regulations and company safety policies within the workshop and on-site.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain safe and organized work areas.
Client & Project Support
Liaise with project managers clients and suppliers to ensure project specifications are understood and executed correctly.
Attend site meetings and provide technical input during planning and execution stages.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Production ManagementIndustrial DesignEngineering or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in event productionexhibition fabrication or carpentry workshop management (GCC experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of carpentry materials finishing joinery techniques and stage/set construction.
Hands-on experience with CNC panel saws and other carpentry machinery is an advantage.
Excellent leadership planning and time management skills.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and production layouts.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Preferred Skills:
Experience managing large-scale event builds exhibitions or interior fit-out projects.
Familiar with AutoCADSketchUp or production management software.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
