The successful candidate will inspire students to explore a wide range of media from traditional painting and sculpture to digital art. You will deliver the Art curriculum across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 encouraging students to develop sophisticated personal portfolios and a strong grasp of art history. You will be responsible for organizing gallery visits and curating school exhibitions ensuring that Art remains a high-profile subject. This role demands a teacher who can cultivate an environment of creative risk-taking while maintaining the high technical standards required for examination success.

Experience and Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor students through the portfolio process.
