At Hyperion Robotics we are on a mission to bring sustainability automation and intelligence to one of the worlds largest and most conservative industries - construction.
We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive adoption of advanced 3D-printed concrete structure systems. This role is ideal for someone who understands construction and engineering environments enjoys working closely with clients and can turn technical capability into commercial opportunity.
This is a highly cross-functional role that sits between engineering business development and customer success. You will help identify new business opportunities educate clients on the value of our solutions and work closely with internal teams to tailor proposals to project requirements.
What It Means In Practice:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within construction and infrastructure.
Educating clients on the benefits and applications of 3D-printed concrete foundations and other low-carbon concrete products including cost speed sustainability and design flexibility.
Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to engineers innovation managers contractors and project leads.
Collaborating with internal engineering teams to tailor solutions to project specifications.
Reviewing project drawings geotechnical reports and structural requirements to propose suitable foundation or structure systems.
Supporting bid preparation pricing strategies and tender submissions.
Building long-term relationships with key clients across the construction value chain.
Monitoring market trends in additive manufacturing and construction technology.
Providing feedback to R&D teams to improve products and processes.
To Succeed In This Role We Expect:
You have a Bachelors degree and proven experience (ideally 5 years) in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
You have ideally good understanding of underground concrete products theirs technology and solutions.
You understand construction methods and the wider project lifecycle.
You are comfortable interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
You bring strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations.
You have a consultative solution-based approach to sales.
You combine technical problem-solving with commercial awareness.
You are comfortable coordinating across technical and business stakeholders.
You hold a valid driving licence and are willing to travel within the UK.
It would be a plus if:
You have experience with additive manufacturing in construction or exposure to 3D concrete printing.
You are familiar with sustainability standards and low-carbon construction practices.
You have knowledge of BIM tools such as Rhino 3D Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD.
You have experience working with contractors developers or precast concrete systems.
