The Opportunity

The successful candidate will:

• Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Have the opportunity to teach A Level History depending on experience

• Support the Head of Department with curriculum planning and departmental development

• Help monitor teaching learning and student progress across the department

• Deliver engaging challenging and thought-provoking lessons that inspire curiosity

• Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes

• Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as trips debates lectures and history societies

• Play an active role in maintaining high standards and raising achievement
