How do you add value to the role

The CNC Systems Specialist is the technical expert in the integration and commissioning of numerical control applications. This role delivers specialized technical services trains customers supports the commercial team and develops service engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Train instructors engineers and technicians to enable them to deliver field services and technical instruction to both internal and external customers. Document and replicate knowledge to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of CNC system integration.
• As a technical expert collaborate with the commercial team to estimate and scope new opportunities; act as a technical consultant in front of customers and propose technical solutions.
• When designing CNC systems and integrating them with other equipment consider industry standards and focus on meeting minimum customer specifications. Perform technical calculations select components define control architecture and develop electrical schematics for integration into applications and processes.
• Execute specialized technical services for internal and external customers whether locally remotely or on-site. The objective is to ensure that assigned CNC systems operate efficiently in accordance with industry and quality standards.
• When participating in projects with internal customers engage in quality assurance activities; collaborate with manufacturing personnel to solve problems identify future opportunities or develop new solutions.
• Continuously develop and update technical competencies either through self-learning or company training programs. Participate in training and consulting programs for internal and external customers acting as a content developer technical instructor or consultant.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science.
• Language: Advanced English.
• Preferred certifications: Numerical Control Siemens/FANUC platforms.

Experience

• 7 years integrating CNC applications/systems in the manufacturing industry.
• 3 years in customer service or applications.
• CNCRobot integration (FANUC KUKA ABB) and PLCs (Allen-Bradley Siemens).
• Proven participation in automotive programs in Mexico and the United States.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and safety standards for industrial machinery.
