Tasks
- Set up and operate lighting sound and other technical equipment for theatre productions your role is make the show happen safely professionally and spectacularly
- Collaborate with directors and production teams to ensure smooth technical execution of performances both pre post and during their show weeks
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of theatre equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist in stage setup and breakdown ensuring all technical aspects are ready for each show
- Train and supervise volunteers or part-time staff in basic technical operations and safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience in technical theatre operations including lighting & sound Stage management as a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to support performances and events.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Understanding of the enviornment in which YMCA Yorkshire Coast operates in
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with performers directors and other team members.

Benefits
Holiday entitlement: Holiday is 22 days plus bank holidays pro-rata
Salary: Grade 2 currently 12.71 per hour
Permanent Contract Part-Time
Miniumum Hours of 200 per annum but likely to be much more
Paid in arrears
