Job Title: Quality Engineering Test Manager
Location: Houston TX
Long Term
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Quality Engineering Test Coordinator to manage and orchestrate end-to-end testing activities across multiple upstream and downstream systems. This role will serve as the central point of coordination for testing execution defect management stakeholder communication and overall quality assurance governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage end-to-end testing activities across multiple integrated systems and channels
Drive daily/weekly defect triage calls ensuring timely identification prioritization and resolution of issues
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including business development product and third-party vendors
Track and consolidate test execution results providing clear insights into progress risks and quality metrics
Proactively identify risks dependencies and blockers; drive mitigation plans to ensure on-time delivery
Ensure effective communication of testing status defects and risks to all stakeholders and leadership
Maintain detailed and accurate reporting dashboards and documentation for test progress and outcomes
Coordinate test data readiness environment availability and resource alignment
Facilitate go/no-go decisions by providing comprehensive quality status reports
Ensure adherence to QA processes standards and best practices across all testing phases
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong 10 Years experience in Quality Engineering QA coordination or Test Management roles
Proven ability to manage complex multi-system integration testing efforts
Experience leading defect triage calls and managing defect lifecycle
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira ALM Azure DevOps)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Agile and/or hybrid delivery models
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise platforms ( UI etc.)
Exposure to automation and test optimization strategies
Background in data validation reporting or analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)
