Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Web Application Programmer (Advanced Level) to support enterprise-level application development within a government environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies full-stack web development and modern development practices along with the ability to work in structured environments such as Waterfall and Agile.
Key Responsibilities - Design develop test and maintain web applications using Microsoft technologies
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements
- Implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces
- Perform unit testing and follow Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server and Oracle
- Participate in system analysis troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Collaborate across multiple projects as a technical lead or subject matter expert
- Ensure adherence to State IT standards processes and security guidelines
- Prepare technical documentation and support validation activities
Required Qualifications - 4 6 years of experience in systems analysis development and engineering in an online/web environment
- Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft C# .NET and MVC framework
- jQuery HTML and Responsive Design
- Experience with:
- Test Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing
- Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Visual Studio 2012 or later
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
- Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience acting as a team lead or subject matter expert
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel Visio)
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Experience working with State of Florida IT standards and processes
