.Net Developer Web Application Programmer

Location: On-site 500 S. Bronough St Tallahassee Florida 32399
Duration: July 1 2026 June 30 2027
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Web Application Programmer (Advanced Level) to support enterprise-level application development within a government environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies full-stack web development and modern development practices along with the ability to work in structured environments such as Waterfall and Agile.

• Design develop test and maintain web applications using Microsoft technologies
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements
• Implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces
• Perform unit testing and follow Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server and Oracle
• Participate in system analysis troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Collaborate across multiple projects as a technical lead or subject matter expert
• Ensure adherence to State IT standards processes and security guidelines
• Prepare technical documentation and support validation activities

• 4 6 years of experience in systems analysis development and engineering in an online/web environment
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Microsoft C# .NET and MVC framework
  • jQuery HTML and Responsive Design
• Experience with:
  • Test Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing
  • Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Microsoft Azure cloud platform
  • Visual Studio 2012 or later
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
• Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience acting as a team lead or subject matter expert

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel Visio)
• Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Experience working with State of Florida IT standards and processes
