Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Web Application Programmer (Advanced Level) to support enterprise-level application development within a government environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies full-stack web development and modern development practices along with the ability to work in structured environments such as Waterfall and Agile.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop test and maintain web applications using Microsoft technologies
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements
Implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces
Perform unit testing and follow Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server and Oracle
Participate in system analysis troubleshooting and performance tuning
Collaborate across multiple projects as a technical lead or subject matter expert
Ensure adherence to State IT standards processes and security guidelines
Prepare technical documentation and support validation activities
Required Qualifications
4 6 years of experience in systems analysis development and engineering in an online/web environment
Strong proficiency in:
Microsoft C# .NET and MVC framework
jQuery HTML and Responsive Design
Experience with:
Test Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing
Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
Microsoft Azure cloud platform
Visual Studio 2012 or later
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience acting as a team lead or subject matter expert
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel Visio)
Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint
Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Experience working with State of Florida IT standards and processes
