Job Summary

Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Mauston WI (Mile Bluff Medical Center)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Monday Friday (No Weekends)

5:00 AM 2:00 PM
8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Phlebotomist to join a clinical laboratory team. The role involves collecting blood samples and supporting laboratory operations while ensuring patient comfort safety and accuracy in specimen handling.

Key Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection
Properly label handle and transport specimens
Maintain accuracy and quality in sample collection
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
Ensure proper documentation of collected samples
Support lab operations as needed

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Less than 1 year of experience accepted
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Ability to work early morning shifts
Familiarity with EMR systems (Meditech preferred)
