Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $18.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting activity according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials permits and/or identification as required helping to support controlled entry and restricted area protocols.
• Assist with alarms emergencies and public assistance needs coordinating with supervisors law enforcement and/or first responders when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
