Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratory in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures as a scrub technologist
- Perform roles as circulator and monitor as needed
- Support diagnostic interventional and emergency cardiac cases
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment
- Monitor patient status and ensure safety throughout procedures
- Assist in pre- and post-procedure care including coverage of holding area and/or EP lab as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab required
- Active state license or compact license required at time of submission
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA or equivalent)
- ACLS (AHA or equivalent)
- NIHSS
- Strong ECG rhythm recognition skills
- Experience with electronic charting systems preferred
