Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide in-home care for clients in Dexter MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance and help clients move safely around their home.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients well-being.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
Requirements
- Prior experience in home care or related field is an advantage but not needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable compassionate and detail-oriented.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks.
