Job Summary

STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.
We are currently recruiting for a Marine Foreman to be based out of our Florida West office which is located in St. Pete FL.
As a Foreman you will be responsible for providing high level management to other field team leadman as well as our open-shop technicians that make our nations structures stronger and last longer. Projects typically consist of concrete repair (both on land and near water seawall remediation & repair corrosion mitigation including cathodic protection waterproofing and structural strengthening in commercial and industrial settings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
On-site supervision of field crews while accurately estimating labor requirements
Developing crew schedules and ensuring work has been completed according to plans and specifications
Completing daily field reports purchase orders delivery tickets and speed memos for customers and internal management
Ensuring crews are operating tools and equipment in a safe proper and productive manner
Assisting Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position:
5 years of experience in general construction with at least 2 of those years in a leadman or lead supervisory experience working on marine projects with commercial dive teams and coordinating underwater work on up to 3 projects simultaneously
Must have experience in pile jacketing and concrete repair in the marine environment
Must be willing to travel and work out of town (sometimes out of state) for extended periods of time.
Proven ability to supervise up to 10 technicians with minimal subcontract oversight
Demonstrated ability to read interpret and execute construction drawings and contract specifications
Established dedication to safety and ability to display adherence to our Companys operating principles
Proven experience to produce look-ahead schedules and work with other construction documents as required by the project
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer crew and project teams
Intermediate computer skills and construction math skills
Pluses:
An ADCI Commercial Diving Supervisor or equivalent commercial diving certification is highly preferred.
Experience with structural strengthening waterproofing corrosion control cathodic protection systems seawalls underwater concrete placements and vessel operation
Prior experience with Power & Industrial (e.g. power plants) and/or Government (e.g. FDOT NAVFAC) clients
