Key Responsibilities

• Work with domain experts and cross-functional teams to understand equipment behavior failure modes and business requirements

• Analyze large-scale time-series sensor data to identify patterns trends and anomalies

• Develop test and deploy analytics for monitoring diagnostics and early warning systems

• Support root cause analysis (RCA) by performing data analysis validating hypotheses and identifying affected unit populations

• Build and maintain data pipelines feature engineering workflows and reusable components for analytics development

• Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to engineering and services teams

• Contribute to fleet-level analytics to provide insights across multiple assets and improve risk identification

• Ensure data quality validation and performance optimization of analytics solutions in production environments

• Document methodologies assumptions and results clearly for broader team consumption

Desired Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Electronics Computer Science or related fields)

• Strong foundation in mathematics statistics and data analysis

• Proficiency in Python or similar programming language

• Understanding of data structures algorithms and basic software development practices

• Gas Power Edison Engineer; Completion of LPX Teardown Training; Progress toward completion of Engineering Masters degree and/or ACE Certificate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with time-series data analysis and signal processing

• Exposure to machine learning or statistical modeling techniques

• Familiarity with data analysis libraries (Pandas NumPy SciPy etc.)

• Experience with data visualization tools or libraries

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms or data processing systems

• Knowledge of industrial systems or equipment analytics is a plus
