Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing information with supervisors and/or site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hospital location including entrances hallways parking areas and perimeter points while helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening processes directions and general assistance in a professional manner aligned with location protocols.
• Support a professional environment by helping to deter unauthorized access reporting security-related concerns and communicating clearly with staff and/or emergency personnel when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting as required.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
