About Prep Boston Prep is a college-preparatory charter public district made up of a single-site middle and high 2026-2027 our community will include 700 students in grades 6-12 nearly 500 alumni over 150 faculty members and hundreds of families. The majority of our students and families reside in Dorchester Roxbury Mattapan and Hyde Park. Instruction Service Delivery and Student SupportProvide direct special education services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 with general education teachers to ensure students with disabilities have access to rigorous grade-level small-group or individualized instruction to support academic and behavioral accommodations and modifications to ensure equitable access to curriculum and student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on data and student service delivery logs and documentation in accordance with school systems and compliance with paraprofessionals and service providers to ensure coordinated student Education Compliance and DocumentationWrite or collaborate on the development of IEPs and 504 plans for assigned in and when appropriate facilitate IEP team and maintain accurate records related to student evaluations IEPs progress reports and related and submit progress reports within required students receive all services and accommodations outlined in their with school leadership to ensure state testing accommodations and compliance requirements are and Student Support SystemsCollaborate with grade-level teams to ensure students with disabilities are supported academically and regularly with special education staff related service providers and instructional teams to discuss student the implementation of inclusive instructional practices across to student support team discussions and problem-solving with Students and FamiliesMaintain regular communication with students and families regarding academic progress and support positive relationships with students to foster engagement and in family conferences meetings and school events when with families to ensure students receive consistent support both at school and at School CultureCommunicate the schools mission and expectations to students and an inclusive and supportive classroom empathy and maintain high expectations for all school-wide systems and structures with positively to Boston Preps collaborative and mission-driven : The pay range for this role is: $59406- $ include:Experience:Previous teaching experience is preferred in a charter school setting is a plus. Experience with diverse student populations and inclusive education practices is a Qualifications and Certifications/Licensure:EducationBachelors degree requiredMasters degree in Special Education or related field preferredQualificationsExperience working with students with disabilities in inclusive settingsStrong collaboration and communication skillsKnowledge of special education instructional strategies and accommodationsAbility to support students across academic and behavioral domainsCertification:Valid Massachusetts teaching license in the appropriate subject area.
