Job Summary
Overview
ORAU is conducting the search on behalf of Centrus Energy for a permanent fulltime Project Controls Engineer in Piketon OH.
As a Project Controls Engineer you will play a critical role in project oversight execution tracking and reporting on project progress.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project cost and schedule baselines coordinating/leading regular project status updates for project reporting along with mentoring/coaching project personnel on cost and schedule control. By effectively managing these areas you will ensure projects stay on track within budget and meet their objectives.
Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Construction Management Accounting Finance or Business
- 5-8 Years of Direct Experience
- Proficiency with Primavera scheduling software
- Proficiency with Cobra or similar cost processor
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Working knowledge of cost engineering/cost control
- Working knowledge of Risk Management process and associated software
- Proficient in Microsoft products specifically Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within high pressure work site environment

- Problem-Solving Skills: To develop creative solutions to challenges that arise during project execution
- Communication Skills: To effectively communicate with project team members stakeholders and clients
- Technical skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project) and financial tools (Cobra); risk management software and estimating software experience a plus
- Leadership Skills: To motivate and guide the project team and directly support the project controls manager
- Current Q security clearance is a plus
