Role Overview:
The Warehouse Associate performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping receiving storing issuing and delivering a variety of products within the facility under general supervision.
Work Environment: Onsite Daily at our Louisville KY facility. 1st shift.
Pay: $18.52 per hour
Responsibilities
1. Pick pack and ship sales orders within defined quality and productivity standards.
2. Operate forklift and cherry picker according to safety guidelines.
3. Label product in accordance with Company and Customer guidelines.
4. Follow housekeeping/5S and safety practices according to Company standards.
5. Receive and put-away product from suppliers within defined quality and productivity standards.
6. Use business supplied tools to participate in problem solving and continuous improvement.
7. Understand department metrics and use to drive performance to meet or exceed objectives.
8. Perform essential job duties and responsibilities at the Distribution Center and comply with all IMI conduct rules to include safety attendance attitude dress code etc.
9. Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum 1-year general warehouse or related experience.
3. Forklift and Cherry Picker Certification a plus.
Skills and Competencies
1. Ability to operate a forklift and cherry picker according to OSHA requirements.
2. Ability to continually lift 35 pounds and up to 40 pounds on occasion.
3. Ability to stand continuously and/or walk for 8-12 hours per day with intermittent breaks.
4. Ability to comprehend and communicate basic English both verbally and written.
5. Ability to perform general mathematical skills to include addition subtraction multiplication and division.
6. Self-motivated proactive individual capable of working as a member of a team and operating independently
7. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Ability to work in a fast paced growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
Computers and Technology
1. Ability to use standard typing keyboard and mouse and navigate through Windows based software.
2. Experience with JD Edwards MRP system and Warehouse Management System a plus.

- Regularly sit stand and walk for up to 12 hours with intermittent breaks.

- Wrist-Finger Speed - The ability to make fast simple repeated movements of the fingers hands and wrists.
- Extent Flexibility - The ability to bend stretch twist or reach out with the body arms and/or legs.
- This position requires repeated movement.
- Vision the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
