Senior Piping Engineer

We are looking for aSenior Piping Engineerto join our Plant & Process group. This role leads thedelivery of high-quality projectsfor internal existing and new clients while buildingcommercial awarenessand taking responsibility forcoaching and technical developmentwithin the team.

What Youll Do:

• Lead the piping engineering delivery of Plant & Process projects across concept FEED and detailed design phases.
• Develop and review piping design deliverables including design criteria line lists piping specifications material take-offs and piping class datasheets.
• Produce and check key piping documents such as P&IDs mark-ups piping layouts and general arrangements isometrics tie-in lists and piping support/interface requirements.
• Coordinate with process mechanical civil/structural electrical/instrumentation and drafting teams to ensure safe integrated and constructible piping designs.
• Plan and manage piping discipline scope resourcing and technical governance on projects including design reviews and ensuring quality to time and budget.
• Support procurement and delivery through technical bid evaluations vendor package reviews (valves fittings specialty items) and resolution of technical queries.

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline); piping-focused qualifications are highly regarded.
• 10 years relevant experience in piping engineering for plant and process facilities ideally within consulting and/or owner-operator environments.
• Background in one or more of: industrial mining oil & gas water/wastewater or energy (renewables/hydrogen).
• Demonstrated capability delivering piping design outputs performing design reviews/checking and producing clear technical documentation and reports.
• Experience with piping layout materials selection tie-ins stress and flexibility considerations and interfaces with supports/structures; exposure to stress analysis tools is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to lead discipline coordination and mentor junior engineers.
