Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is hiring for a CDL B Truck Driver 3rd Shift in Ashland Virginia at our Presort Services facility.

Your hourly pay will be $21.00 paid weekly.

Your 3rd Shift schedule will be Monday through Friday from 6:30PM to 2:30AM EST.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for picking up and delivering mail from our customers.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications and USPS regulations.
• Ensure that the mail is reviewed for proper dates and a pickup slip is attached with each order prior to loading the truck.
• Performing warehouse duties include wrapping pallets stacking trays and loading trucks.
• Maintains daily drivers log for mileage and cargo.
• Maintain documentation for customer pickups such as collecting signatures and tracking/documenting mail counts and assisting with mail related questions.
• Keeps vehicle production floor and area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a CDL Truck Driver you have:

• Must be minimum 21 years in age.
• Ability to drive a CDL Straight Truck or equivalent.
• Valid state motor vehicle operators license in the state where the driver resides (CDL Class B) and meets applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable Straight Truck driving experience in similar sized vehicles (i.e. Straight Truck) within the last 3 years with a safe driving record.
• Must be flexible and can come in early or work later if someone calls off or is on vacation.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. walk stand stoop and bend with or without accommodation.
• Basic Computer skills and ability to read a map and understand directions.
• Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.

Our Team: Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS. For completing this work Presort Services receives discounted postage performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients weare able toshare a portion of that discount with national network of operating centers processes over 17 billion pieces of mail provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network providing optimal postage savings.
