Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support to our clients in Port Huron MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in a home environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to medical staff or family members.
- Assist with medication reminders and follow care plans as directed.
- Communicate effectively with clients families and team members.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or related experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to personal care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks.
