Bambini Childcare in Ellicott City is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Were looking for someone who brings both structure and warmth into the classroomsomeone who understands that young children thrive when learning feels purposeful safe and joyful.

About the Role

As a Lead Preschool Teacher you will guide a classroom of young learners (ages 2-5) creating an engaging environment that supports their social emotional and academic development. Youll take ownership of curriculum planning classroom management and family communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards
• Create a nurturing structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Observe assess and document childrens developmental progress
• Maintain open consistent communication with parents and guardians
• Supervise and support assistant teachers
• Ensure compliance with Maryland licensing and safety regulations
• Encourage curiosity independence and positive social behavior

Qualifications

• Minimum 90-hour Preschool Certification (Maryland requirement)
• At least 1 year of preschool teaching experience
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• A genuine passion for working with young children
