How you get to help us do that in this role

Prepare groundwork and materials for the construction of underground water mains sanitary sewers and storm sewers.

What youll do

• Provide timely and safe transportation of equipment to and from sites
• Ensureconstruction is built in alignment with planspecifications byreading measuring andaccurately interpreting grades and elevations
• Contribute to the successful and safe completion of projects by skillfully maneuveringloaders skid steers rollers dozers backhoes hoe packs small excavators and other heavy equipment to achieverequired gradeand compaction of earth and trenches
• Enableseamless workflows by anticipating crew needs and providing timely support and access to materials
• Maintain the integrity of work and surrounding infrastructure withproper material placement and backfilling
• Maximize equipment safetyefficiency reliability and longevity through regular cleaning maintenance minor repairs and proactive completion of usage/performance records
• Prioritize safety by operating with awareness and caution in areas with pedestrian and vehicular traffic

About you

• You have experience operating heavy equipment forexcavation grading compaction and/or material handling.
• Youre great at knowing the shortest andbest route between starting and completingwork. You dont need to rush because youre resourceful and work in a well-organized way to gain maximum effect through a minimum number of steps.
• Youre drawn to challenges that engage your mind and test your skills. Fromcomplex plansto equipment troubleshooting the uncertainty of a challenge brings out the problem-solver and learner in you.
• Safety and quality area reflection of who you are and you believe good enough isnt good enough.
• Your drivers license reflects asafe driving history
• Youve earned a High School diploma or equivalent

Even better (but not required) if you have

• Underground utility experience

1. How much travel can I expect The amount of travelfluctuates based on where we win the opportunity to do projects. We aim to staywithin a 3 hour radius travel. When traveling you can expect a 4-day work week. Wepay for lodging per diem and a weekly dinner.
2. How will I travel to get to away jobs You will have the option to travel with the Foreman receive gas money to drive a carpool or travel on your own.
3. Is thisseasonal or year round work Wehavent laid off in 3 years ourgoal is year-round work.
4. Is there opportunity to grow Theresalways room for growth and that is based on what you put in your efforts attitude and goals. We offer unlimited online training and also hands-on equipment operation training.
5. Can I earnovertime Yes and we also want you to have a personal life. You can expect to be able to earn 7-8 hours per week over 40.
