Job Summary
What you will do -
As Sourcing Manager Strategic Sourcing youll play a pivotal role in driving innovation efficiency and value across our global supply base. This is a highimpact position with direct visibility to senior leadership and crossfunctional teams. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a defined supplier portfolio driving excellence in service quality and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing Execution: Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with Strykers mission and global category goals optimizing supplier performance across service quality and cost.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Set strategic direction for key supplier partnerships. Serve as the escalation point for supplier issues including quality concerns dispute resolution and commercial implications of product field actions.
- Supplier Development: Drive continuous improvement in supplier capabilities to meet both short-term and long-term business needs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead global sourcing projects and strategic initiatives beyond the sourcing function including program management efforts.
- Executive Communication: Engage confidently with senior leadership and executive stakeholders across Stryker and supplier organizations.
Required -
- 8 years in Supply Management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
- Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products materials and services.
- Bachelors Degree
Preferred -
- AS400 or ERP experience
- Power BI or similar applications
- Work in a manufacturing environment
- Work in medical device or other highly regulated industry
