What Youll Do

In this hands-on role youll bring projects to life by installing modifying and repairing ductwork and sheet metal systems. Youll work from blueprints and specifications to ensure precise code-compliant installations while collaborating closely with team members and other trades on-site.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints shop drawings and technical specs
• Measuring laying out fabricating and installing duct systems (TDF snap lock slide and drive etc.)
• Cutting and shaping sheet metal
• Installing HVAC equipment such as air handling units VAV boxes and fan-powered boxes
• Coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless project execution
• Inspecting your work to meet industry and company standards and job requirements
• Loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean safe job site
• Using hand tools power tools and specialized equipment
• Applying shop math and problem-solving skills on the job

What You Bring

Were looking for someone who is reliable detail-oriented and takes pride in their work:

• Vocational/technical training or completion of an apprenticeship
• 2 years of related HVAC sheet metal experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical documents
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation
• Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and help guide apprentices or helpers
• Commitment to safety with knowledge of OSHA standards
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• This is an active hands-on role requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending reaching standing kneeling and working on your feet for extended periods

Work Environment:

• Work will generally begin at the customers job site; job locations will vary based on project needs and may span a wide geographic area
• Ability to work in all weather conditions & temperatures
