What Youll Do
In this hands-on role youll bring projects to life by installing modifying and repairing ductwork and sheet metal systems. Youll work from blueprints and specifications to ensure precise code-compliant installations while collaborating closely with team members and other trades on-site.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints shop drawings and technical specs
- Measuring laying out fabricating and installing duct systems (TDF snap lock slide and drive etc.)
- Cutting and shaping sheet metal
- Installing HVAC equipment such as air handling units VAV boxes and fan-powered boxes
- Coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless project execution
- Inspecting your work to meet industry and company standards and job requirements
- Loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean safe job site
- Using hand tools power tools and specialized equipment
- Applying shop math and problem-solving skills on the job

What You Bring
Were looking for someone who is reliable detail-oriented and takes pride in their work:
- Vocational/technical training or completion of an apprenticeship
- 2 years of related HVAC sheet metal experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical documents
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Ability to work independently and help guide apprentices or helpers
- Commitment to safety with knowledge of OSHA standards
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- This is an active hands-on role requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending reaching standing kneeling and working on your feet for extended periods
Work Environment:
- Work will generally begin at the customers job site; job locations will vary based on project needs and may span a wide geographic area
- Ability to work in all weather conditions & temperatures
