PM Quality Inspector (Temp-to-Hire)

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM 12:30 AM
$20.00 $22.00 per hour (DOE)
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Vernon Hills IL. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering long-term potential for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability. Responsibilities:
Inspect components to ensure compliance with specifications
Use calipers micrometers and height gauges to verify measurements
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Document inspection results accurately
Submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed
Notify supervisors of quality or production concerns
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
02 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience
Experience with calipers and micrometers preferred
Ability to read blueprints
Basic computer skills (Excel Word Outlook)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Repetitive hand use and working with small parts
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Drug screen required
Background check required
