Atrium Healths Neurosciences Institute Neurologyseeks a qualified Neurology Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP) to join our outpatient team and provide care to patients at Atrium Health Neurology Lincoln. The APP would treat the full scope of general neurology patients in our outpatient clinic.

Our Atrium Health Neurology team consists of over 90 physicians and 30 APPs across Charlotte fostering an engaged and collaborative environment. Our established APP Leadership structure alongside our Center for Advanced Practice provides support advocacy and numerous opportunities for professional growth while prioritizing well-being and cultural safety for our team.Atrium Healths Neurosciences Institute Neurology is the regions largest and most experienced stroke network. Our Neurological Specialists work together to provide wide-ranging seamlessly connected neurological care.

We invest in the professional and clinical growth of our Neurology APP team with numerous research and academic opportunities and are looking for someone that is eager to learn driven and motivated to provide the highest level of clinical care. The APP will participate in the education of learners (other APPs students/APP fellows nurses and new clinical teammates) and with our operational leaders and stroke program coordinator to help support transition of care initiatives.

Highlights of the position:

• An exciting rare opportunity to practice in an APP driven clinic supported by our esteemed neurologists providing general neurology care an outpatient setting

• Desirable Schedule with option of 4 or 5 day work week.

• 12-16 patients per day with consults follow-ups hospital follow-ups and procedures (including botox for migraine).

• We provide our APPs with a comprehensive onboarding experience that includes a customized clinical and didactic orientation for first 10-12 weeks with MDs and APPs across the department and is then followed by ongoing clinical support and educational opportunities.

• Provide patient-centered care in an environment focused on community health.

• No call or weekends.

Ideal candidate:

• 2 years of experience as APP required with experience in Neurology strongly preferred.This is a rare opportunity to practice at an APP driven clinic in collaboration with our MDs and APPs across the Charlotte Region. Ability to see patients autonomously with the support of other onsite APPs expertise of onsite rotating subspecialists and continuous access to our extensive network of neurologists virtually.
