Rock Wall Instructor Sports Club New York

Equinox seeks a Rock Wall Pro for our state-of-the-art Sports Club NYC location.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Oversee the rockwall areas; ensure that all equipment is used safely. 
• Assist members with climbing gear instruction and belaying. 
• Maintain a clean rockwall area. 
• Examine rockwall equipment prior to use; store properly at the end of shift. 
• Enforce all member and employee policies rules and regulations. 
• Adhere to safety practices and policies. 
• Respond to members concerns suggestions and complaints in a timely professional manner. 
• Offer the highest level of member and employee service while maintaining a positive enthusiastic and helpful attitude. 

Qualifications :

• At least 2 years of experience in rock climbing including belaying. 
• High School graduate or equivalent. 
• First Aid training. 
• Strong desire to work in Fitness industry.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Ability to speak conversational English is required.
• Must be available and able to work at both sites Equinox E61st (330 E 61st) and Sports Club NY (160 Columbus Ave 67st)
• Pay Transparency: $17.00 per hour
