This is a fully onsite role based at our Global Central Laboratory in Highland Heights KY. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a drug screening.
Available Shift:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday from 9AM - 5:30PM ET with a rotational Saturday

The Medical Technologist II and/or Scientist II performs analysis and evaluates individual and related laboratory data recognizes patterns or trends that suggest significance of results and determines the level of clinical significance. What Youll Do:
Support the Flow Cytometrygroup
- Performroutine and complex flow cytometry testing in support of clinical trials including but not limited to immunophenotyping CD markers cell enrichment panels and customized sponsor-specific panels according to validated procedures.
Prepare and processwhole blood bone marrow and other biological specimensfor analysis including staining lysing and washing steps.
Operate maintain and troubleshootflow cytometers (e.g. BD FACSLyric FACSCanto)and associated software systems.
Conductdaily instrument setup calibration and quality control; review QC data to ensure assay reliability and compliance.
Analyze and interpretflow cytometry data including gating strategies and population identification.
Review and verify test results foraccuracy completeness and consistency prior to release.
Follow and enforceGLP/GCLP CLIA CAP and/or GCP regulatory requirementsand laboratory SOPs.
Document all testing activities deviations and corrective actions inLIMS or laboratory documentation systems.
Assist withmethod validation assay development and performance qualificationof new panels or instruments.
Troubleshoot technical issues related toinstrumentation reagents or sample quality escalating as needed.
Maintaininventory of reagents controls and consumables; ensure proper storage and lot tracking.
Participate inproficiency testing and competency assessments.
Supportaudits and inspectionsby preparing documentation and addressing findings.
Train and mentorjunior technologists or new staffon procedures and best practices.
Ensure properbiosafety and waste disposal practicesare followed atall times.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new procedures and in the modification of existing methods.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years) or equivalent combination of education training & experience.
Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge skills and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear garments and gloves.
